What is Dental Monitoring?
Dental Monitoring is a smartphone app that allows our team to monitor your aligner treatment progress remotely. All you have to do is take weekly photos of your teeth and send them to us via the app.
Our team will review your photos to make sure your teeth are moving according to your treatment plan. As long as things look good, we won’t need to see you at our practice and you can carry on with your day!
How does Dental Monitoring work?
At the beginning of treatment we will set an app up on your smart-phone and provide you with a Dental Monitoring (DM) scan box.
Dental Monitoring allows our team of remote clinicians to monitor your treatment progress remotely. We’ll ask you to send us weekly photos of your smile through the app, and we’ll send back our treatment recommendations to you.
As long as your treatment is going well, we won’t need to see you at our practice. In fact, if your teeth are moving more quickly than planned, we can even switch you to a new set of aligners ahead of time - effectively speeding up your treatment.
